Sir Adam Beck Generating Station 2 |
Since 1958, Sir Adam Beck 2 Generating Station has captured that potential energy in one of Ontario's largest hydroelectric facilities. It's a wonderful example of a natural, non-polluting and reliable power source that has worked in harmony with the beauty of Niagara for over five decades.

The Sir Adam Beck Generating Stations are located along the Niagara Parkway near the Queenston-Lewiston bridge and the Floral Clock.
One of Ontario's largest hydro-electric generating facilities; opened in 1954, it was the largest hydro-electric plant in the world at the time.
Niagara Parks Bontanical Gardens and School of Horticulture and the Butterfly Conservatory are significant features just south of the Generating Station. Niagara Glen Trails are also close by.
Sightseeing and photography can be enjoyed along the Niagara Parkway Recreational Trail. Free parking is available just south of the generating station.
