White Meadows Farms |
A third generation family farm, White Meadows is one of Niagara's most unique and popular agricultural tourism destinations. On weekends during January through to the middle of April, the most popular attraction is the Pancake House, which features all day breakfasts with maple incorporated into many of the items offered.
Every weekend in March you can have an historic adventure in the sugar bush. Re-enactors dressed in period costumes will make the history of maple syrup production come alive. A wagon ride will take you into the forest of sugar maple trees, and from there you can wander the trails learning about tradional and modern practices of maple syrup production.
White Meadows Farms welcomes visitors year round. You can visit the sugar shack and learn about maple syrup production through visual displays on the walls. Step into the Maple Sweet Shop and taste different grades of syrup, learn about maple syrup production, and sample the many items that White Meadows staff have developed using the sweet and delicious bounty of the maple tree.
