Ball's Falls Thanksgiving Craft Show |
General Information
The Ball's Falls Thanksgiving Festival Craft Show and Sale runs over Thanksgiving Weekend (Friday - Monday) and features over 140 vendors. It is a great event that has not just crafts to offer, but also features food, live entertainment, birds of prey, pony rides, children’s activities and heritage activities. The admission is $6 a person and free for those under fourteen years of age. This makes it a great trip out for families who want to do something creative and fun outdoors. It is also a great opportunity to explore Balls Falls itself and witness the waterfall and surrounding area. Fall is also the perfect time of year to visit, as the colours of the leaves are in full force here. It’s also a great photo opportunity for visitors interested in landscape photography, and for those interested in geography. There is plenty of both natural and cultural heritage here.
Vendors include everyone from photographers and local artists to woodworkers and artisans, and products include everything from homemade bath supplies and candles, decorations, homemade jams and jellies, clothing, and any other knick knacks you can think of. The atmosphere is colourful and fun, and it's always bustling with people going from tent to tent.
It's a great destination for a nice fall trip out with the family!
